The City Beneath Itself

As night falls, the city begins to reveal another side of itself.

Blue light washes across the architecture,
long windows stretch into the distance,
and familiar buildings take on an entirely different appearance.

Through reflection, the scene appears to continue beneath itself,
creating a second city where symmetry and perspective meet.

The City Beneath Itself was captured in-camera using a smartphone and
Prime-Pilot CrystalView™, applying physical mirror photography techniques
to create the illusion without digital compositing.

Part of the Prime-Pilot Signature Series,
this fine-art photograph explores how creative smartphone photography
can transform ordinary urban environments into unexpected visual experiences.

By combining architectural photography,
carefully chosen perspectives and simple phone photography techniques,
even familiar streets can become places of discovery.

From urban exploration to travel photography gear,
Prime-Pilot brings together creative inspiration and
carefully selected equipment for travelers and creators who want to see the world differently.
